Dear Valued Patient-Families,
Your health and safety are our top priorities here at Michigan Retina Center. In light of the recent outbreak of COVID-19 (Coronavirus), we want to assure you that our team is tracking the latest information, statistics, and guidelines regarding the status of the situation and taking extra precautions to ensure that our patients remain safe and healthy during visits to our office.
Our office will continue to remain open. Michigan Retina Center has always maintained a rigorous infection control process, and we regularly sanitize our offices to prevent the spread of infection. We are doing this even more frequently using CDC recommended products.
We are taking additional precautions:
We are limiting exam and waiting areas to patients only unless the patient requires physical (wheelchair/walker) or language assistance. We recommend all other visitors wait in their vehicles.
We also ask that our patients wear a mask to their appointment.
Any patient who is experiencing fever or flu-like symptoms, such as cough or shortness of breath, must reschedule their appointment and should contact their primary care provider.
If you have come in contact with anyone who has COVID-19, please stay home for at least 14 days from the time you made contact and self-monitor.
We appreciate your understanding during this ever-changing healthcare climate.
